Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Mr. Stanton graduated summa cum laude with highest honors from the University of Richmond’s prestigious Jepson School of Leadership Studies, where he ranked second in his class with a GPA of 3.85. He then pursued his J.D. at the University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law as a John Marshall Scholar, the law school’s most prestigious scholarship program, limited to 8% of the incoming class.
During law school, Mr. Stanton earned numerous academic achievements, including membership in the McNeill Law Society (an honor reserved for law students ranked in the top 10% of their class), induction into the Order of the Coif, participation in the Law Review, and awards for Advanced Trial Practice.
Following law school, Mr. Stanton served the Commonwealth of Virginia as an aggressive criminal prosecutor, handling multi-million-dollar regulatory cases as well as serious violent crimes such as murder, arson, abduction, domestic violence, malicious wounding, and DUIs. He also prosecuted lighter cases, including traffic violations.
For more than a decade, the government trusted Mr. Stanton to prosecute criminal and regulatory violations on behalf of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Now, he leverages that invaluable behind-the-scenes experience to work for you as a zealous, hard-hitting advocate for your constitutional rights. Having won hundreds of cases before judges and juries in Circuit, General District, and Juvenile and Domestic Relations Courts in Virginia, Mr. Stanton knows what it takes to win—tireless dedication, thorough preparation, and open communication with his clients.

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Julia graduated from Trinity Episcopal High School and went on to earn her B.A. in psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm and ensures that both clients and staff are supported with efficiency and care. Julia is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for clients while supporting the legal team behind the scenes. When she’s not in the office, you can find her spending time with family and friends, or at home perfecting her favorite recipes.
